Highpointing

The act of attempting to reach the highest point of something, whether it be a county, city, state, national park, or mountain range.
In 2005, I begun the quest to reach the highest point in each of the 64 counties of Colorado. Of course, in this state, this is not a light task. I'm sure it'll take me years to complete, but it gives me a goal to strive for and keeps me outdoors on most of my free days. The eastern part of the state is very flat and will require very little effort, besides the driving time, to attain each of the county summits. However, the western portion of the state, with it's very high and sometimes dangerous peaks, will be a whole different story. As soon as I get another one done, you'll know about it here.
