Vegoose 2006 - Halloween
For the second year in a row and to celebrate
Carrie's and my 1-year anniversary, we went back to Vegoose with Greg and Kim.
Most of high school and college friends
from Indiana decided a vacation was in order.
Of course, we chose Vegas.
Late June and July 2006 Activities
After a long layoff from updating this site, I'm back and ready
to show you what I've been up to for the last month and a half.
Carrie and I went to Indiana to hang with my family and friends and to
attend the Indianapolis 500. While this was probably my 15th 500, this was Carrie's
first racing event. She didn't know what she was getting herself in to.
My First Rock Climbing Experience
Joe and Alissa, very experienced climbers, invited me to join
them for some rock climbing at North Table Mountain in Golden.
At the end of April 2006, I flew to Philly for five days for a vacation which
included many of the City attractions, plus I did the State Highpoint, Mount Davis.
March 2006 Ski Trip with Carrie and Friends
Carrie and her long-time friend Spice came to Denver in
March 2006 for a ski trip. Not too many pictures were taken, but
good times were had by all while skiing at Breckenridge and Copper.
When not climbing County highpoints, I'm climbing other big mountains.
Highpointing
A new hobby that I've been getting into is highpointing.
In February 2006 during Carrie's trip, me, Carrie, Greg, Kim, and others got a house in the San Juans
for a ski trip to Wolf Creek. After skiing, the four of us went to Great Sand Dunes National Park.
Finally, Carrie, our friend Robyn, and I went to Keystone for another day of skiing.
Little Rock, Arkansas
During a business trip to Arkansas in February 2006, I did a little sightseeing to the State Capital and
Bill Clinton library. I also 'climbed' the Arkansas state highpoint, Signal Hill.
In October 2005, three friends and I went to Las Vegas
for the inaugural Vegoose music festival.
Independence Pass and Aspen, Colorado
During my mom's vacation to Denver in October 2005, we drove from Denver to
Aspen via the Collegiate Peaks Wilderness and over Independence Pass.
In September 2005, I went to one of four DMB shows at Red Rocks. All these
pictures were taken with Carrie's camera. Unfortunately, a few of them are a little blurry.
Carlsbad Caverns National Park
On a recent business trip to Carlsbad, New Mexico, I was fortunate to be
close to this National Park, an amazing labyrinth of underground caverns.
While hiking alone near Rand, Colorado on the west side of Rocky Mountain
National Park, I came around a corner to find this guy. He was as surprised as I was.

In September and October 2004, I worked on the Central Coast
of California. Saw Matt and Stephanie while I was there.
Ang and Ryan
My long-time friends Angela and Ryan made it
to my neck of the woods in May 2005.
A family tradition for over 30 years including
the Brickyard 400 and Indianapolis 500.
Wedding of Greg and Kim Harris and Trip to New York
My buddy Greg got married on the north shore of Long Island
in May 2004. Check out the pictures from New York City.
My long-time good friend Matt got married in June 2005.
We had some good times, although the reception is rather blurry.
